The End...

Now that the class is over, I can say that I learned a lot about Conflict...and Team work! The group project went really well and all of the group members were awesome! We worked really well together and I think that out project turned out great!

I have enjoyed this course and I hope that you all did too! Hope to have another class with everyone!

Group Project...so far...

Well, our first group meeting went pretty well...once I figured out my iLinc issues! lol For some reason I could not get my microphone to work properly, so I had to use a co-workers computer. Once we got rolling, I think that we came up with some pretty good ideas! We are going to create a company, along with an actual policy that is being violated. We plan on doing our final presentation via iLinc as well. We are also going to be having a practice run on Thursday night, so wish us luck!!
Hope that the other groups are working well together also!! Good luck! Can you believe that we are already in to the third week?!?

Partner Phone Assignment #1

I really enjoyed this assignment. I was able to 1) meet a co-worker and 2) get an opinion of a non-bias individual about a problem that I was having. Interesting that 20 minutes can help more than you think.

Week Two Discussion

So, I've started thinking more about how "who you know" influences your "power". So much of what I get done at work is reliant on who I know in which department. Getting student situations taken care of as fast as possible can be highly influenced by whether or not my contact is in the office that day.

It's almost as if power influences my productivity...just a random thought.

Good morning!

I just wanted to introduce myself a little bit...

My name is Christina Mawson. I work for National University...it is a great place to work! I am planning my wedding, which is on August 25th! I can't believe how the time goes by SO fast!

I hope that this class can better prepare me for the conflict that I encounter in my Supervisor role here at work.
